Overall summer experience

This summer was pretty good. We learned how to use Microsoft Photoshop, PageMaker, and MovieMaker. In groundskeeping we pulled a bunch up shrubs out and trimmed down the bigger ones. We digged holes and moved cars. This summer we made monewy and had a good time so I'm gonna miss alot of people.

What is the best thing you've learned in WIA so far?

One thing I learned that I've wanted to learn how to use for awhile is Microsoft Photoshop. I had never known how to use it but I had always been curious so now I plan on getting it on my computer so I can mess with pictures on my computer. I'm also glad that I learned how to use the Microsoft movie maker because I've wanted to be able to make videos too.

What is the first commercial that comes to mind.

The first commercial that comes to mind for me is the Budweiser magic beer refrigerator commercial. The one where the guy makes a revolving fridge so his buddies won't drink all his beer, but the fridge goes to the apartment next to his and these two guys start grabbing beer yelling that the magic beer fridge is back. Yeah I liked that commercial it was very funny.

Logo's related to your career of choice

I put these logos because my career of choice is to be a graohic designer and if it worked out well most graphic designers could end up in a Video game producing company or a something related making digital movies or commercials.

If I got a million dollars.

If I got a million dollars I would put about half of it away so that I could save it. I would help my mom finish paying off our house, and then I'd buy myself a car. I would buy a 1969 Dodge Charger with a jet black paint job and either a silver or a red racing stripe down the middle. I would but myself a bunch of new clothes so I'd always have something good to wear.

Where I am going to be heading?

As of right now I would either want to take a career in Graphic Design or if not that then maybe a medical profession. For a career in Graphic Design I'd probably have to take two to three years of college, and then in the medical field I'd probably be a General Practictioner which would take longer to do, probably four to six years of college. A General Practictioner makes about $110,000 to $145,000 based on experience, I'm not sure how much graphic designers make but I know that the medical field would give more, however i think i much prefer graphic design as of now.

What learning style are you? Is this a surprise? What are three things (examples) you can do that will help you learn?

I tied being a Aural learner and a Visual learner, I wasn't surprised because I already knew that was my learning style. To study better I can tell myself the answers so i will remember them better. I can also pay attention to things shown to me or said to me. Lastly I could improve my studying if I could see my studying material when I study.

In the year book, how do you want to be remebered?

I think in the yearbook I'd just like to be remembered for who I am and the people that I met and became friends with. However the yearbook should say some of the things we've done as well.

What does WIA mean to you?

The WIA program is a chance for me to earn money for myself. My family does not have much so the WIA program helps a lot. The WIA program got me a job and when we get back into school the WIA program will help me get my car fixed and they'll pay for credit recovery. The WIA program is a really good chance for me to overcome some of the struggles of not having very much money.
